Prevent Gender Based Violence

The Lerato Family Foundation aims to equip families and individual

women, and men, youth and children to work towards peace and security for violence

prevention and sustainable livelihoods, through advocacy, lobbying, and access to

justice as per their constitutional rights, with all relevant stakeholders.

The primary focus is on women and girl empowerment to combat GBVF and for peace

and security based on the South African Women, National Action Plan on Peace and

Security Agenda, to deconstruct inequalities against women.
